- Garden centre 1 sells a bag of compost for £4 each and has an offer whereby if you purchase two bags of compost, you get the third bag free.
- Garden centre 2 normally sells a bag of compost for £3, but at the moment they have an offer where you get 20% off.

- Shop A normally sells each bag of crisps for 80p, but at the moment they have an offer whereby you can get 15% off.
- Shop B sells bags of crisps for £1 and has an offer whereby if you purchase 3 bags of crisps, you get 2 bags free.

- Shop 1 sells each BBQ for £5 and if you purchase 2 BBQs, you get the next 2 BBQ half price.
- Shop 2 sells each BBQ for £6 and if you purchase 5 BBQ, you get 40% off any more BBQs (there is no limit on the number of additional BBQs that you can purchase with 40% off).
