​Simultaneous Equations: Quiz 2
Solve the simultaneous equations by using the substitution technique. The questions in this section will probably be easier to solve by using the elimination technique. However, I think that it is a good idea to practice using the substitution technique before we use it on simultaneous equations that contain quadratic terms.
 
1) 3a + b = 14
a = b + 2
 
2) 5c + 7d = 16
c – 4d = 14
 
3) 3e + 16 = 11 + f
2f + 2e = -14
